This is such a lovely relaxing space to visit. I could have spent the entire day here! So many little trails and shady areas to sit and watch the birds. Such a fun place for people of all ages. Pet friendly. The cottages and cabins were an extra bonus! Free parking

The garden is very beautiful with multiple sections. And even a spot for kids to get wet and have fun. The whole place is very beautiful with their 38 acres of land and a two mile trail. They even had multiple coffee shops there. It was amazing. I recommend especially going on cooler days.

The San Antonio Botanical Garden was such a beautiful and peaceful place to visit! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by gorgeous flowers, lush greenery, and beautifully maintained gardens. Every section had something unique to offer, making it a wonderful place to explore at a relaxed pace. One of my favorite parts was how diverse the gardens were. There were tropical plants, colorful flowers, desert landscapes, and scenic walking paths that made every turn feel like a new experience. It was easy to spend hours wandering through the different exhibits, taking photos, and simply enjoying the natural beauty all around. The garden was very clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly, and there were plenty of shaded areas to sit and take in the scenery. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or on a quiet solo outing, there’s something for everyone to appreciate. It’s also a great place for kids to learn about nature while having fun. Overall, I highly recommend visiting the San Antonio Botanical Garden. It’s a peaceful escape from the busy city, full of stunning landscapes and relaxing views. Absolutely beautiful!! It was super hot midday in July in south Texas but totally worth it. I loved the gardens, the gorgeous and imaginative Otherwild art exhibit, and the incredible birds, butterflies and dragonflies. My friend, who is a member of the gardens, and I bought beautiful art and treasure from the thankfully air conditioned gift shop at the end. Ten out of ten. I can't wait to go again and to check out the holiday light extravaganza. My very talented friend took all of these beautiful photos and gets full credit.

Im originally from San Antonio and I have never been here. I’m sorry but we were not impressed. We paid $36 and two exhibits were closed, but they didn’t stop us from going. I was surprised that there wasn’t more colors from hen flowers. I would expect it to look like this during the summer but not March. Now I looked at reviews after the fact and saw that people had night post with all the lights. I think if I knew this I would have given it more stars but overall for the price we were not impressed. I was also expecting more from the indoor plants. The only one we really liked was the one that had mist like a rainforest but the rest was just blah. The rose garden looks like it may be beautiful but none of them had roses. Someone has having a wedding that day so I think that venue looks nice for weddings. I maybe would complain less if we didn’t pay $36. I normally take more pictures of gardens because I love them but I didn’t take hardly any.
